This makes it very easy for architects, building owners, manufacturers and builders to prescribe and apply the construction panel with all its qualities in projects. CHAIN STANDARD CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNIQUE

As an independent and expert party, Ketenstandaard, together with its partners and almost 4,000 participants, licensees and 100 affiliated software parties, provides data structures that are practically applicable for every role in the entire chain.

Ketenstandaard develops, manages and promotes the STABU Specification System, the ETIM Standard and NL/SfB for Classification, the DICO Standard for Communication, GS1 Standard for Identification, NL/SfB and the Manufacturer-Bound Product Specifications. This enables a better and more efficient response to accelerating digitisation throughout the construction chain.

The almost 4,000 affiliated participants are active throughout the construction chain, from clients, housing corporations, architects, specifiers, engineers, construction and/or maintenance companies, installers, painters and wholesalers to manufacturers and software partners in construction, infrastructure and technology.

The STABU product database is the tool for specifiers and builders to view manufacturers and their products and to compare them on quality characteristics. All relevant products of all suppliers therefore have a clear place in our online database: STABU Manufacturers Index. Your product data are available to specifiers and builders via the manufacturer-specific product specifications (FPSs).

STABU for manufacturers

For more than 30 years, the construction industry has been exchanging data via the STABU system. It was initially set up to produce standard specifications for residential and non-residential construction. With the rise of BIM, the STABU database has developed into the basic ingredient for good data exchange throughout the entire construction process.

STABU's product database is the tool for specifiers and builders to view manufacturers and their products and to compare them on quality characteristics. STABU makes this search as simple and effective as possible.

All relevant products of all suppliers have therefore been given a clear place in the online database: STABU Manufacturers' Index.

At present, over 150,000 building products from more than 500 manufacturers at home and abroad are included in the database. In consultation with these manufacturers, links are made between their product specifications, product information, available CAD information, instruction videos, and so on.

STABU's product database is also the tool for manufacturers to bring their FPSs (manufacturer-specific product specifications) to the attention of the prescribing market. STABU wants to make this search as simple, effective and comprehensive as possible. The manufacturers can be found in the STABU2 database and their products can be found in the STABU Manufacturers Index, which is accessible to everyone.
