Sustonable is the new revolutionary sustainable, thin and ultra-light sheet material made with a unique combination of quartz and recycled PET plastic. Durability comes from the quartz and PET mixture. This combination is formed when both materials are heated to 250-300°C and the PET melts. The heat process transforms the mixture into a liquid that is distributed and built up by a continuous press. The mixture is then allowed to cool down to become a stable solid again*. Sustonable does not use any toxic catalysts or accelerators in the process, and this is because the production line is designed with sustainability and circularity in mind. The entire industrial process is designed not to emit gas fumes or create dust clouds.

The process is a healthy balance between the right temperatures, clean materials and the right techniques to achieve practically minimal and safe emissions for our employees. Sustonable is the evolution of traditional composite stone surfaces and worktops into a more ecological, affordable and recyclable alternative for architectural and decorative projects. Sustonable fits perfectly into any project that needs to be durable, resistant and elegant. It is a versatile material that can be used for table tops, back walls, worktops, wall panels, kitchen worktops, bars, bathroom walls

#GREENGRIDZ

#GREENGRIDZ is a circular furniture construction panel. The lightweight construction consists of a patented GRID system. This makes the panel super stiff, does not warp and is very strong.

The press turns waste streams of plastics and natural fibers under high pressure and heat into sheets used to make circular furniture. The raw materials harvested from the plastic waste are old children's toys, soap bottles, CD cases, crates, lamps, garden furniture and household appliances. Natural fibers are harvested from old milk cartons, hemp, coffee grounds, old clothes, wood chips, paper and cardboard.

What started with viewing a 3D printed tulip vase and then driven by commitment and enthusiasm, many more circular solutions turned out to be possible, which were eventually realized in the building. TRIBOO gave "working together on housing" a much broader dimension and a story to go with it.

Pieter and Peter find it very interesting and fun to work with TRIBOO. They deliver products that are completely in line with our circular objectives. They take us along in the development and knowledge of materials, binding techniques and modular constructions made on Dutch soil. They simply show us what it is made of and that appeals. They also help us tell "the circular story".

Massaro: 'We chose this furniture because it is made of worthless waste that would otherwise have made a negative impact on our planet. Now the waste has become cool and fun furniture. All those thousands of employees and visitors who will be using the rooms will see the story, read it, and may be inspired to do the same'.
