In a Circular Challenge, together with TRIBOO, 1700 kilos of old postal parcels were upcycled into a high-profile, circular office with 80 workplaces. MyParcel was founded in 2010. Before that, we were web shop owners. Nice work, only the shipping software of the big senders didn't cooperate. Too slow. Too complex. And the result? Shipping became a day's work, while we wanted to be enterprising. That was the drive to create our own software. Software that did take our wishes into account.
It worked! Other webshop owners who saw the software were immediately enthusiastic. This is how the idea was born to start MyParcel: a company that develops products and services that make the work of webshop owners easier, based on the belief that e-commerce should be accessible to everyone.

Inmiddels hebben we zelf geen online shops meer, maar diep in ons hart blijven we webwinkelier, want dat blijft het mooiste dat er is, toch?
MyParcel's growth and its merger with PostNL meant that a high-profile environment was needed that did justice to its own identity and culture. Where traditional companies design their offices according to the beaten track, MyParcel has chosen TRIBOO. We are a circular designer who gets people moving and up-cycles waste into environments that are talked about.
My Parcel and PostNL collected 1700 kg of old postal parcels from their own waste streams. TRIBOO upcycled the fibres and transformed them into desks, tables and cabinets. The eye-catcher is the personalised MyParcel desk. This desk is entirely made of the old postal packages and this is also reflected in the design.
This idea comes from the people at MyParcel themselves. They see the postal package as the core of the organisation. Now they are reminded of this every day and there is a connection with the shop floor in the circular office.
The unique desk contains no toxic substances. It is therefore much healthier to work on. Instead, the desk consists of good materials that can be easily reused. After the agreed lifespan has been reached, the super fibres, which were once waste, can be given another life.
With the help of the innovative techniques from our circular HUBs, every fibre gets a place in a new form. We do this without adding new raw materials
