Plantics materials

Plantics 'Superior Natural Materials' are based on a revolutionary invention by the University of Amsterdam that resulted in a unique new type of thermosetting bio-resins. Produced from local (Dutch) agricultural residues, these resins are the world's first 100% biobased thermosetting resins. Because plants take CO2 from the air, the resins are also CO2 negative. Moreover, the bio-resins are safe and the raw materials are available on an industrial scale in most countries in Europe.

#GREENGRIDZ Technology

#greengridz is a healthy and circular furniture construction panel. The construction of the lightweight structure consists of a patented GRID system. The panel can be assembled from various upcycled waste residues of natural cellulose fibers. Because of the GRID system, the construction panel is stronger and stiffer than any solid panel currently available in the market. It does not flex, making it easy to construct long structures for furniture and building applications. In addition, the panel is 100% flat so that a perfect finish without unevenness ensures a clean look. Depending on the thickness of the panel, between 60 and 90% fewer raw materials are needed than traditional solid furniture panels. CO2 emissions are even 60% lower. It is made in the Netherlands and due to its light weight, less fuel is used during transport while 50% more volume can be transported.
