Circular office design made from waste makes a difference. In a while we will be meeting at the CDs we are collecting now. How cool is that!
A special place is being built at Amsterdamseweg 53 in Amersfoort. A physical place where innovators can meet, a space where innovations can be taken further and where TBI companies can work together on the challenging themes of energy transition, circular enterprise and modular construction. TBI MAAKlab!
The TBI team shaping this innovation hotspot consists of Gerben Broekhuijsen, Arvid Duijzer (Modular Company), Rudy van Gurp, Dick van Ginkel (TBI WOONlab), Ewout Smits (WTH) and Jeroen Pat (Smart TBI). Important in the choice of the interior was that the interior had to be demonstrably circular. TRIBOO demonstrated this conclusively with circular products made in the Netherlands.
Tables made of #GREENGRIDZ furniture construction panels. Made with 60% less material and 60% less CO2 than traditional table tops. Lamps made from chocolate mould waste, tables made from old CDs and EverUse acoustic insulation material to ensure acoustic comfort in the room.
In contrast to traditional design projects where a few people work out the idea for everyone, we now turn that around. Everyone contributes, everyone gets involved, the space becomes everyone's success. The symbol of this is the circular table made of old CDs collected by TBI employees. 3,750 of them, to be precise. In a while we'll be meeting at the CDs we're collecting now. How cool is that!
