16 companies from nine European countries have been shortlisted for the European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE), the EU scheme celebrating those businesses leading the transition to a sustainable economy. 12 companies have been selected as the "Rising Stars "* of the European sustainable business scene.
TRIBOO has been identified by the jury as a 'Rising Star' in the category product and services award. Standing out for bold leadership towards a sustainble economic recovery for Europe, well aligned with the priorities of the European Green Deal.
The jury was very impressed by TRIBOO as it stands out for the highly innovative techniques that it uses for turning waste material into natural and people-friendly furniture for offices. The multi functionality of the products is clearly proven, making it an outstanding circular economy product with obvious environmental, economic and social benefits and good replication potential. Given that Triboo is a relatively new company, its long term impact has yet to be fully proven. Nevertheless, the jury believe the future of this company will be very positive, and consider it as one to watch.
