On November 30, 2020, TRIBOO officially opened the Circular Office Innovation Center in Copenhagen. TRIBOO was founded 5 years ago in the Netherlands by Marc van der Heijden and Martijn Vinke with the ambitious goal of transforming worthless waste into valuable circular office furniture. After successfully introducing healthy and circular products made from waste to the Dutch market, TRIBOO is ready to grow and introduce the products to the Scandinavian market. Together with two Danish entrepreneurs Jesper Melballe and Thomas Nielsen, TRIBOO NORDIC was founded to make this vision a reality in Scandinavia and bring healthy and circular products to Scandinavia.

The demand for healthy and circular solutions is high in Scandinavia. Growth from waste is therefore the best solution to save resources and reduce CO2. Jesper and Thomas are ready to take up the fight against the waste of raw materials. The focus of activities is on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. TRIBOO's brands and circular products are 100% in line with the sustainable way of thinking in Scandinavia, sustainability is deep in the fibers of our culture.

TRIBOO NORDIC is going to market the brands and circular products with which high-profile successes have already been achieved in the Netherlands. #GREENGRIDZ, the furniture construction panel with a healthy mission where depending on the thickness of the panel 60% to 90% less material is needed and has a CO2 footprint 60% lower than solid furniture panels, 3D printed flower pots made from old refrigerators, NOTRASH waste bins made from PP waste, EverUse acoustic insulation made from cellulose waste, NeverEnding Kichten, the world's first circular kitchen, to name a few.

At the first meeting a year ago between Marc and Martijn and Thomas and Jesper it was immediately clear, they shared the vision of TRIBOO. Something has to be done to make sure we change the consequences of the irresponsible linear economy and cheap ideas about making money. Taking responsibility as a chain and not saddling other people with the costs and harmful effects of toxins we now hide in products. Consciously choosing not to waste and value raw materials. With revolutionary innovations and upcycling techniques, "worthless" waste streams of plastic and natural fibers are transformed into "valuable" circular office furniture. As a circular supply chain they take responsibility for the raw materials and circular products. Thus, costs transform into value streams and return logistics are also in order. The core activities consist of furnishing offices, supplying circular products and developing customer specific products made from waste. In addition, they provide all services appropriate to good maintenance, furniture management and logistics.
