TRIBOO LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE MATERIAL AT MATERIAL DISTRICT

On March 12-14, the annual Material District is in the AHOY in Rotterdam. TRIBOO will launch our latest material innovation here.

On March 12-14 the annual Material District takes place in the AHOY in Rotterdam. During a full program of three days all leading material innovations will be shown. TRIBOO has been asked to show its products at the showcase and to give a lecture on Thursday 14 March, where we will present our latest material innovation!

We take this, and make this

At the exhibition, you'll see the story of TRIBOO. We take 'worthless waste' and turn it into high-profile products. Because we have innovative technologies to upcycle waste, we can turn waste into raw material that we reuse 100%. In this way, the raw materials we once extracted from the earth get an infinite life.

At the exhibition we zoom in on the technology to reuse old CDs. The all aluminum layer of the CDs is separated and combined with the polycarbonate of the CDs boxes. Hollow tubes are made from this pure monostream, which not only look beautiful, but are also rock solid. Our circular products are produced locally and designed by top Dutch talent. The lamp was developed in 6 weeks for a project.

Launching Innovation during Material District talks

MaterialDistrict is known for its high-profile lecture program, in which renowned (inter)national architects, scientists, designers and other experts share the latest developments in the field of materials with the public.

On Thursday, we will launch our latest technology there, taking cellulose waste fibers and making a high-profile material. A new base material with which you can make desktops, cabinets, kitchens, beds, pantries and much more. This material is made in the Netherlands from waste residual streams is circular and 100% reusable.

TRIBOO gives a lecture on Thursday, March 14 at 14:30 in pakhuis de Zwijger. Interested? Stop by on Thursday for our presentation.
