TRIBOO has been nominated for the oscar among entrepreneurial awards the Koning Willem 1 Plaquette, as a top company in sustainability.

The professional jury led by entrepreneur Anne-Marie Rakhorst selected us as one of twelve companies for the most prestigious entrepreneurial award in the Netherlands.

The plaque, also called the oscar among entrepreneurial awards, is presented biennially by the King Willem I Foundation by honorary president Queen Maxima.

TRIBOO is seen by the jury as a leader in sustainability. The jury praised the innovative materials, binding techniques and constructions that TRIBOO uses to make circular products. Like the healthy, circular workplace with the lowest CO2, the NeverEnding kitchen for a lifetime of cooking pleasure and GreenGridz the furniture panel with a healthy mission. In addition, the jury was impressed that TRIBOO takes responsibility for the raw materials and has the return flow for the products and materials in order.

The plaque is awarded biennially by the King Willem I Foundation. The main criteria to qualify for the plaque is the impact on the environment and the surroundings of the company through sustainable use of natural resources or reduction of the environmental impact. The company fulfills a need for people, society and the chain and also contributes to making the chain more sustainable. Furthermore, the company must be economically profitable.

The final of the Koning Willem I Plaquette for Sustainable Entrepreneurship will take place in mid-May. In addition, thanks to this nomination, TRIBOO has been selected to participate in the European Business Awards for the Environment.
