Over the past few decades, almost all of the furniture in our offices has been made of MDF and particle board. Easy to work with and inexpensive. You see it in walls, pantries, benches, conference tables, desk tops and much more. The problem is that all these products are not healthy and circular. When we no longer want to use them they cost money and are one big waste problem. And even worse, that garbage pile is extremely unhealthy for us too. This has everything to do with the binder used in making MDF and particle board; formaldehyde. In addition, these linear products are often made in countries on the other side of the world, after which they are transported here by ships and trucks. To then be put down in on paper sustainable buildings and offices. The office has become a warehouse of toxic materials and non-reusable worthless furniture, where CO2 emissions play no role. In our race for more and cheaper, we have completely lost sight of reality. We are making ourselves poorer and losing sight of important values like health and our globe. If you know that, then you don't want it anymore, right?
The #GREENGRIDZ furniture panel is the replacement for these harmful materials. This new innovative basic material is made in the Netherlands from waste residues. The panel can be composed of different types of waste, and thus raw materials. The source is cellulose fibers from cardboard, old clothing, milk cartons, straw, hemp and waste wood. These raw materials are bonded under the influence of temperature and pressure to form strong panels. No toxic binders or other harmful substances are added. These boards are pressed into a strong and lightweight furniture panel that is versatile in use. We make them into desk tops, tables, cabinets, walls, doors, kitchens, pantries, acoustic panels and much more.

CO2 emissions from the production of #GREENGRIDZ are 60% lower than traditional sheet materials. It is CARB2 certified and biodegradable. With this, it meets the highest requirements, when it comes to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as FORMALDEHYDE. The patented lightweight GRID requires far fewer raw materials. This saves 60% in weight! This is great for the people who carry and assemble furniture and saves a lot of fuel during transport. #GREENGRIDZ is made in the Netherlands. This way we always produce close to our customers, provide employment and preserve craftsmanship and innovation for the Dutch manufacturing industry.

TRIBOO functions as a bank that temporarily lends its valuable resources to organisations in the form of furniture panels or furniture. When the customer, due to changes in organisation or market, has to function differently and needs different furniture to facilitate this, TRIBOO gets the furniture back. For the new demand we develop and produce new circular furniture from the same raw material. A desktop can be transformed into a kitchen, a wall, a flower box or into a desktop again.
