Two leading Dutch companies in the manufacturing industry are going to cooperate. TRIBOO turns worthless waste into valuable circular office furniture and NedCam is an international leader in making complex shapes. Together they will market a circular collection of 3D printed furniture under the brand NeverEnding Furniture. Circular Dutch Design with which they make the circular economy and waste-free society visible in the interior in a controversial way. The first products in the collection are plant pots. 3 tulips from closed to open and two beanies that fit together in symbiosis.

Both companies not only make furniture, but they also take responsibility for the raw materials and thus close the cycle. All furniture is NeverEnding and can be returned at the end of its useful life. The customer receives the value of the raw materials in return, after which the furniture is converted into new raw materials for the printer. The furniture is then turned into new raw material for the printer and the circle is complete again.

Marc van der Heijden and Martijn Vinke are the directors of TRIBOO and Erwin van Maaren and Jan Volker are the directors of NedCam. The collaboration brings creativity, engineering, innovative manufacturing and sales together under a powerful new brand. The combination of skills and ambition promises a major revolution in the way furniture is made and used. The goal is to reduce the waste of raw materials to 0.

Today's furniture industry wastes material on a gigantic scale, amounting to billions of Euros annually, it cannot go on like this. On the one hand, large quantities of furniture are produced and not all of it is sold. On the other hand, companies and consumers throw away millions of kilos of furniture every day. The raw materials are destroyed and end up in landfills or as fuel in incinerators for green energy. With the NeverEnding furniture brand, you can be sure that the raw materials will be reused and a piece of furniture in a different shape or colour will be printed from the same raw material.

As a result of the mass production in the industry, many office furnishings have become uniform without any identity. This is where NeverEnding furniture makes a difference: only making what the customer needs. State-of-the-art technology and Large Scale 3D Printing allow us to use recycled thermoplastics to create complex shapes with minimum use of materials. Inspiration comes from nature's algorithms. Biomimicry and biophilic design are applied to create the parametric models we print.

RAW MATERIAL OF ONE PIECE OF FURNITURE IS RAW MATERIAL OF ANOTHER PIECE OF FURNITURE

The furniture is 3D printed from recycled thermoplastics. A thermoplastic is a plastic material that becomes soft when heated. An advantage of thermoplastic material is the possibility of reuse in different applications. By re-shredding and reheating the material, it can be brought into other desired forms.
