The whole is more than the sum of its parts. A product that offers the best, both on the inside and on the outside.
At first glance, it is hard to see what is so special about the healthy and circular workplaces of TRIBOO. But when you get to know the stories of the materials, understand the impact of the innovation and see the people who take steps every day to make the circular economy and waste-free society a reality, then the seemingly ordinary office becomes very special.
The appearance of a desktop is determined by its finish. To the eye, it is only visible as a colour, structure or motif, which ensures that the piece of furniture fits coherently into an interior at the office or home. If you want to give your worktop a high-quality finish so that you can enjoy it for a long time, HPL (high pressure laminate) is used. The laminate looks good, lasts long, feels good and is easy to clean. The BLOOM core technology is radically different. Compared to the production of traditional laminates, it uses 50% less phenolic resin, 28% less water and 38% less energy. In addition, the ecological footprint shows 46% less CO2 emissions.
With Bloom, lignin technology has been introduced to significantly reduce the amount of phenol contained in the resin by 50%. Lignin is a natural polymer defined as the glue that holds wood fibres together. This is a very big step forward when you look at the developments in the market. In combination with #GREENGRIDZ, the value of a desktop suddenly takes on a much deeper dimension and meaning.
