SILENCE IS GOLDEN WITH THE ACOUSTIC DESK SCREEN FROM EVERUSE

There is no material in the market that absorbs voice noise better and is also healthy and circular with a negative CO2 footprint.

One of the most common complaints in offices in the Netherlands is noise pollution. Research conducted at the University of Sydney has shown that 25 to 30 percent of employees in an open-plan office experience noise pollution. In some cases, this costs up to 86 minutes of productivity per day.

What distracts most is the sound of our voices. Talking colleagues sitting just a little too far apart and conversing loudly with each other. These situations are not desirable and lead to loss of concentration and annoyance. Acoustic screens are often placed on desks, ranging from a sheet of MDF with a textile to screens filled with sound-absorbing material. The performance in terms of acoustic absorption varies from none to reasonable.

This is now changing with acoustic desk screens from EverUse. There is no other material on the market that performs better and is also healthy and circular. It reduces noise pollution from reflections and shortens the reverberation time. Thanks to its woolly structure and springy mass, sound is very well absorbed at both high and low frequencies. The frequency range where EverUse excels over all other acoustic materials is in the voice. With a board of 4cm thickness, the absorption is 100%. Specifications, properties and official tests have been conducted by Cauberg Huygen to substantiate this best in class performance and A rating.

What are EverUse acoustic desk screens?

EverUse is the circular insulation material made from paper and cardboard waste in the world's first circular insulation factory. Because the circular product is upcycled from waste instead of virgin raw materials, it has a negative CO2 footprint and stores CO2 in the construction in which it is incorporated. The natural cellulose fibres are gentle on the skin and not harmful to the respiratory system. It contains no harmful fibres or toxic substances such as formaldehyde and ink. This makes it possible to create healthy acoustic furniture applications that contribute to a healthy and responsible environment. EverUse is the world's first circular insulation material with Cradle to Cradle certification.

The values of EverUse acoustic desk screens:

ACOUSTIC CIRCULAR PRODUCT MADE OF WASTE

The EverUse® insulation board is sturdy and resilient and forms the basis for the acoustic desk screen. The innovative EverUse recipe is upcycled from waste paper and cardboard. A woolly material is created by shredding these natural cellulose fibres. This material forms the basis for the EverUse circular insulation products. Uniquely, the product insulates both acoustically and thermally, thus solving two problems at once. It is available as a flake, sheet, panel or insulation system. With every EverUse product you buy, you make the waste mountain smaller and the acoustic and thermal comfort in your building and work environment greater.

UNRIVALLED IN TERMS OF SOUND ABSORPTION AND INSULATION

EverUse makes a valuable contribution to the realisation of acoustic comfort. Absorbing, when it comes to noise nuisance from reflections and reducing the reverberation time. Isolating, when it comes to shielding a room from sound from outside to inside or vice versa. Thanks to its woolly structure and springy mass, sound is very well absorbed at both high and low frequencies. The frequency range where EverUse excels above all other acoustic materials is that of the voice. This is often the cause of nuisance in open-plan offices. With a board of 4cm thickness, the absorption is 100%. Specifications, properties and official tests have been carried out by Cauberg Huygen to substantiate this best in class performance and A rating.

HEALTH

The recipe for EverUse consists of natural cellulose and contains no harmful fibres or toxic substances such as formaldehyde or ink. As the world's first circular insulation material with a Cradle to Cradle certificate, it is our mission to ensure that everyone can build in a healthy and circular way. We produce without waste and prevent reusable raw materials from unintentionally ending up as waste in the incinerator, under the ground or in our oceans. In this way, we prevent damage to our living environment and make an active contribution to reducing environmental pollution, climate change and the depletion of raw material stocks. As a Cradle to Cradle certified material, EverUse also scores highly in the evaluation and certification systems used to determine the sustainability performance of buildings. LEED and BREEAM-NL award credits and points to Cradle to Cradle certified products that have been thoroughly researched and meet very strict requirements in five areas. Safe and healthy use of materials - reuse of materials - renewable energy and CO2 management - improvement of water quality - social aspects. The product must be produced sustainably and be able to be used again as a raw material in a biological or technical cycle.

CO2 REDUCTION AND CO2 STORAGE

Your acoustic desk screen as a CO2 storage medium. Because EverUse is incorporated into the construction of the office screen, the cellulose fibres are stored as biomass in the interior. For every kilo of EverUse, 3.7 kilos of CO2 are stored. If we correct for production and logistics in the chain, EverUse has a negative CO2 footprint of -1 kg CO2/kg of product and therefore makes a substantial contribution to the reduction and storage of CO2.

REUSABLE AND 100% CIRCULAR

Circular production without waste. EverUse is a material development of 20 years. Designed from the fibre up to be 100% reusable. The circular production facility in Sneek produces without waste, and every insulation board can be completely reused. Even the cutting loss, which is normally a cost factor because waste has to be processed, turns into a value stream in 15 minutes and becomes a profitable circular insulation board again.

WASTE AS CURRENCY

Silence is worth its weight in gold. As a circular value chain, EverUse takes responsibility for its high quality cellulose raw materials. So if you're done with it, we'll continue to use it. When EverUse is removed from the desk screens, it is weighed and we refund the raw material value per kilo. If the current value of the material has increased compared to the value at the time of purchase, you will benefit from this extra return and receive it just like an investment in your bank account. Because you have cared for the raw materials with love, you will receive the appreciation instead of an invoice with costs to be paid for the processing of waste. In this way, we can all be responsible for our raw materials and not throw anything away. In this way, EverUse, as a producer, is making a concrete contribution to the emergence of the circular economy and the realization of a waste-free society.

RAW MATERIAL BANK OF VALUABLE FIBRES AND CO2

High quality and reusability of the raw materials is part of the circular business model. EverUse functions as a bank that temporarily lends its valuable raw materials in the form of insulation material to organisations. When the customer can no longer use the raw materials, EverUse gets them back. We then ensure that the EverUse raw materials find their way to another customer in the form of flakes, mats, or panels.

RETURN LOGISTICS AND THE WORLD'S FIRST CIRCULAR INSULATION PLANT

All logistic return flows of the reusable raw material EverUse are organised and coordinated via a network of circular HUBS. In this way, the raw material efficiently finds its way back to the producer. Once processed in the world's first circular insulation factory, the healthy and responsible circular products are returned to the market. This way, the circle is complete. We throw nothing away and raw materials are never lost again.

MADE IN THE NETHERLANDS

EverUse is made in the Netherlands. This means we can always produce close to our customers, provide employment, and preserve craftsmanship and innovation for the Dutch manufacturing industry.

SUPER FAST DELIVERY TIMES

Because we make the product in the Netherlands, it does not have to be made and transported from the other side of the world. We are able to guarantee delivery in 14 days from order to delivery at the office.

MATERIAL WITH AN IDENTITY

All EverUse insulation boards are chipped with NFC technology. This reminder for our customers ensures that our products always find their way back. Even after a long time.

EverUse INSIDE

EverUse INSIDE is EverUse's collaborative programme for the development of circular value chains. The EverUse technology makes existing insulation solutions sustainable in terms of health, reusability, CO2 reduction and storage.

In addition, all the other positive properties of the material transform standard linear insulation solutions into top quality insulation products. Best-in-class sound insulation and absorption, thermal properties, moisture control and phase shift make EverUse a sound and responsible choice when it comes to professional circular insulation.
