TRIBOO, nominee of the Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship gets a well-deserved moment of attention.

The process surrounding the 2020 King William I Prizes is different from previous years. Everyone is extra challenged and so are this year's nominees. Meanwhile, these candidates have gone through several selection rounds and have shown courageous entrepreneurship in various ways before and during the corona crisis.

To put the spotlight on the nominees, the Koning Willem I Foundation will once again introduce all the companies during the coming weeks. By now, these companies have overcome a number of bumps and for many the end is in sight. Last week the participants presented their vision on entrepreneurship, the future and more. So did the nominees of the Plaque for Sustainable Entrepreneurship, of which TRIBOO gets a well-deserved moment of attention in this article.

TRIBOO: circular with furniture

TRIBOO is hard at work when it comes to circular manufacturing. For example, they transform "worthless" waste streams of plastic and natural fibers with upcycling techniques to turn them into circular office furniture. The furniture is not only beautiful to look at and good for the environment, but also practical to transport and therefore less of a burden on traffic.
