Amsterdam municipality gives brain oxygen with circular green concept

The City of Amsterdam has teamed up with TRIBOO to create a unique place with a green waterfall of circular plant pots filled with oxygen plants.

The City of Amsterdam has teamed up with TRIBOO to create a unique place to train its employees. The beautiful, bright spaces are separated by a green waterfall of circular plant pots filled with oxygen plants. Good for the earth and for the brain.

In addition to the familiar plant pots and "the sheep," TRIBOO now has hanging, circular plant pots. These pots are made from plastic waste from old refrigerators. Using 3d-robotic printing, 'waste' is turned back into a beautiful new product, completely reusable at the end of its useful life.

Using unique technology, waste costs are thus turned into raw material yields. Each jar contains nine kilograms of pure raw material. When the City of Amsterdam no longer needs the pots, TRIBOO takes them back and makes them into another chair, table or lamp. When you're done with them, we move on.

As it stands, the 30 circular plant pots create a visual separation between spaces. This creates a pleasant, bright environment with a healthy effect on the indoor climate. Each pot contributes to solving our waste problem and provides more oxygen to feed the brain during the training and education provided in this unique building.

Thus, together with our customers, we develop special furnishing concepts that connect circularity and health. Get the maximum potential out of your people and contribute to a waste-free society. Get in touch and start working on your unique environment today.
