How nice it is to do your bit for sustainability and the circular economy. To be part of the changes yourself.
How nice it is to do your bit for sustainability and the circular economy. Being part of the changes yourself and creating awareness in others is great. Especially when you then also see results within the organisations you work for, that's the cherry on top.
Three years ago, I had no idea what you can make from waste and how I could use waste in my work. Once you come into contact with enthusiastic people, who encourage you to think just a little differently and to actually take steps, beautiful things can happen.
When you purchase many products for an organisation, you look more and more consciously at how those products are made. You ask the market to change, to offer sustainable and circular products. This is where we make the difference.
The municipalities of Uithoorn and Ouder-Amstel have placed their facilities process within Duo+. The great thing about this is that I can do very cool things for two municipalities. Sustainability and circularity are high on the political agendas, but are also sensitive subjects. Each municipality has its own identity, but also its own political agenda and motives. You want to make your contribution to that. With more than 42,000 inhabitants, these municipalities are the first to take concrete steps to make their circular ambitions visible in their offices and business operations. We have converted 780 kg of plastic waste into 52 circular NOTRASH separation stations in cooperation with TRIBOO.
