This chair is made entirely of materials from waste streams. The sheet material was milled to an accuracy of 0.1 mm using our robots. The ingenious joints ensure a rock-solid whole, without the use of a single screw, nail or drop of glue.
As a result, our furniture has an unprecedented lifespan. Each piece of furniture is build-to-last, just as previous generations designed their furniture as heirlooms. And if any damage does occur, we re-manufacture the part with the same precision.
The materials are made from agricultural waste, coffee grounds, confidential paper or milk cartons. These waste fibres become valuable raw materials that we can reuse indefinitely, because we can easily take them apart again. A table becomes a chair, or a door, or a kitchen.
Know what you are contributing! Every FAUTEUIL is provided with a material passport. Parts can be traced, production and efficiency are fully transparent. The passport is transparent about efficiency, sawdust/waste and residual material. It provides information about the amount of CO2 stored and to what extent the product or project is CO2 negative as a result.
