When you walk into the circular office of Chrysalix Venture Capital in RoboValley in Delft, it is a beautiful and at first sight normal office. But that is far from the truth. Nothing is what it seems. All the furniture has been upcycled from natural and synthetic waste fibres and is 100% circular.
Together with Chrysalix we designed a healthy and high-profile office where they feel at home. Together we take responsibility for the raw materials used and ensure that they never become waste again. The office becomes a bank for healthy and valuable raw materials.
In order to create a healthy and responsible workplace for the employees of Chrysalix, the desks were equipped with #GREENGRIDZ desk tops. The construction of the lightweight construction consists of a patented GRID system. The panel can be assembled from various upcycled waste streams of natural cellulose fibres. The CO2 emissions are 60% lower than for an ordinary full core chipboard desktop and free of volatile organic compounds. The proof is the CARB2 certification; the highest standard for formaldehyde. At the end of its use, the #GREENGRIDZ desktop can be returned and the raw material value will be refunded to Chrysalix. TRIBOO will again make panels and other circular products from the same material.
