FAUTEUIL invites with its comfortable looking seat. The different angles in the construction create a comfortable armchair that, upholstered in felt, radiates warmth and comfort. The expressive connection of the tiles to the construction creates a wonderful contrast between the colourful felt and the layered birch plywood. If desired, it can be finished in 50 different types of natural wool felt.

FAUTEUIL is characterised by an interlocking construction that also provides its sturdiness. This construction principle allows the parts of FAUTEUIL to remain elegant and slender, while the interplay between the head and the surface of the material creates a beautiful contrasting image.

By producing locally, using local raw materials and working with top designers from the Netherlands, we create a strong proposition that improves employment in the Netherlands. We reduce CO2 emissions through our efficient LEAN production techniques, low mileage and store CO2 by making high quality circular products from natural cellulose fibres.

We want you to enjoy using FAUTEUIL for as long as possible, and our fully automated process provides this ground-breaking service. All parts are infinitely re-usable. Should any parts wear out or break down, they will be milled in real time and you will be back on a renewed FAUTEUIL in no time. We work LEAN and do not need to keep parts in stock. This is how we save on costs and avoid waste.

Passport materials

Know what you are contributing! All are provided with a materials passport. Parts can be traced, production and efficiency are fully transparent. The passport is transparent about efficiency, sawdust/waste and residual material. It provides information about the amount of CO2 stored and to what extent the product or project is CO2 negative as a result.
