A healthy mind in a healthy body. It is an often quoted quote from one of the satires by the Roman poet Juvenalis. However, when it comes to the relationship between people and furniture in our offices, this is a completely different story. A story that hardly anyone knows but needs to be told in order to start working mindfully on healthy and responsible environments.

When most people think of a healthy office, they think of ergonomics.

But few people think about the impact of toxic materials on our health. While those toxic materials have entered our offices through furniture. The place where we spend most of the week. And that has a dramatic effect on our health.

Much of the existing furniture is rich in added formaldehyde.

In addition, by using solid furniture panels we extract a lot of material from mother earth to make unnecessarily heavy structures. In the race to cheaper, we have reached the bottom and lost sight of the welfare of people. This has to change!
