540 WORLD is joined by an incredible team of Cradle to Cradle® product manufacturers and unique service providers, for this years’ Future Build Expo at London’s ExCel.

540 WORLD is the UK Cradle to Cradle® gateway organisation encouraging and supporting C2C® implementation across all sectors. Founded by partners Chaline Church, Paul Capel and Brendon Rowen, the company has already produced the first Cradle to Cradle® Design Directory which presents current Circular Economy Ready products and services available in the UK. The company has also launched the UK’ first Cradle to Cradle showcase of C2C® GOLD certified products at the 100% Design show in September 2019. Chaline runs and owns Freespace Design which focusses on healthy, safe architectural interiors design, Paul is the co-founder of the world’s first online C2C® marketplace trading in only C2C® certified goods and services and Brendon steers the Cradle to Circular Design Consultancy, supporting certification and consultancy under the C2C® protocols. Drawing on the expertise of the 3 companies has created a friendly tsunami of Cradle to Cradle® activity, slowly flooding UK markets with safe and circular focused initiatives.

Amongst key partners in these efforts to meet the demand for effective sustainability solutions and the growing need for B2B and B2C engagement, 540 WORLD has partnered with Marc van der Heijden of TRIBOO healthy and circular office furniture in the Netherlands. Marc steers numerous companies that passionately engage and implement the Cradle to Cradle® ethos. Amongst them being EverUse® circular insulation material, Neverending Kitchen® first circular kitchen in the world and #GREENGRIDZ furniture constructions panels which safes 60% material. All products underpin the C2C® principles and all products will be presented by 540 WORLD at Future Build in the Innovation Zone, Stand E110 and E111.

540 WORLD and the team of dedicated enthusiastic collaborators are highly motivated to bringing these game changing C2C® certified products and services together at Future Build, to help architects, designers, contractors, home owners and local governments to meet the challenges we all face with the effects of climate change.

Included on the 540 WORLD agenda are keynote presentations from Ignasi Cubina of Eco-Intelligent Growth in Barcelona and Owen Zachiriasse of JLL in Holland, topics presented include of some the most cutting-edge circular economy developments in the built environment and workspace strategy in commercial real estate.
